Why choose steel railings?

The steel railings are a combination of cut steel profiles, firmly attached to different surfaces by symmetrically positioned elements and a variety of colors and patterns. They are characterized by great sturdiness and allow multiple architectural combinations. They consist of square, rectangular or round columns, vertically anchored to the concrete structure of the building, a horizontal handrail and a filling in various combinations of steel profiles, metal sheet, glass, wood and others. In order to achieve greater sturdiness the profiles are welded by MIG / MAG welding. The paint durability is achieved by powder priming, powder coating or galvanizing.


Technical features

For the manufacturing of steel railings are used steel rods made of steel S235JR in accordance with the EN 10219 with a thickness of 2 mm or more. Once the technician has taken measurements and the entire project for the railing has been prepared, the steel is cut at a precise angle and size, then it is welded in the architectural design combination of the client's choosing, and then it is sanded and degreased. These sanded and degreased elements of the railings are powder coated in specialized cameras through electrostatic field. In the subsequent calcination by an appropriately selected technological process, usually at 180-200⁰С, the paint polymerizes and spills. The finished pieces of the railing are mounted by anchoring or welding on site. Anchoring is done by mechanical or chemical anchors with a high degree of fixation and rigidity.

  • The manufactured and installed steel railings are cleaned and degreased. Primed with a deep-penetrating anti-corrosive primer applied with a soft brush, a roller or a spray gun. The rust is previously treated with rust converter.

  • Once it is primed, the steel railing is painted with alkyd paint or enamel paint. The paint is applied til the surface is completely covered with a soft brush, a roller or a spray gun.

  • The electrostatic application of powder polymeric materials is a method for applying anti-corrosive and decorative coatings on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as on non-metals, i.e. glass and ceramics. The dust-layered profiles or fittings are significantly more resistant to shock and scratching.
